A direction still uncertain
Thus, it would seem that the candidate of the right-wing party wishes betting on the popular cryptocurrency trend within Canadaalthough we do not yet know exactly how he wants to promote the development of Bitcoin and its adoption among the general public.
However, according to one of his recent statements, the Bitcoin could be offered as a parallel currency to the traditional banking system:

As cryptocurrency is gradually becoming a political subject in its own right around the world, the conservative candidate could indeed win support beyond party boundaries. An idea supported by David Coletto, CEO of Abacus Data, a Canadian market research company:

The opposition between cryptocurrencies and the banking system
The Conservative has long been part of a strategy of opposition to the Bank of Canada, declaring in particular that the latter participated in the excessive spending of the government at the expense of the most modest Canadian citizens.
