Bad news for all Pietro Lombardi fans. The singer canceled his current tour after a few shows.
Pietro Lombardi (29) cancels his current tour after only three concerts due to the corona pandemic. The singer announced this on Instagram. “It doesn’t feel right. I would be irresponsible to continue playing the tour,” he said in an emotional video.
The canceled concerts should be rescheduled in March. He hopes “that everything will have got better by then,” said the singer. He also said in the Instagram post how difficult it was for him to make the decision: “I’m very sad.” The safety and health of the crew and fans took precedence.
Tickets remain valid
“We have currently played Dortmund, Zurich and Luxembourg,” said the singer in the video. “And I’m very happy with everyone who was there.” For fans who already have tickets for one of the planned performances, he also stated that the tickets will remain valid.
Lombardi’s followers on Instagram meanwhile praise the “right and good” decision to cancel the concerts. “Better to go on a tour with a clear conscience instead of dragging my stomach ache on,” says the comments, among other things.
