Actually, singer Pink is known for her rock-hard muscles. During the corona pandemic, however, she also had to struggle with the yo-yo effect and therefore lost 16 kilos. In an interview with “Variety” she now reveals why she now feels stronger than ever.

Pink, 43, is the epitome of a strong woman. Her lyrics, songs and appearance are bursting with self-confidence and her physique is pure power. But even superhumans need a break from time to time. The singer took a little break during the Corona period, which is said to have been good for her voice, but according to Pink “not so good for my body”.

Pink: She lost 16 kilos

The singer is not only back with a new album and tour, but has also found her way back to her old strength. She lost it during a career break. Like many, Pink had to step down during the corona pandemic. A break that was important, but not only had a positive impact on the 43-year-old, as she herself admits to Variety magazine: “Having breaks is good for my voice. Not so good for the body. Especially during COVID — I gained 36 pounds. All I did was make sourdough and then eat the sourdough bread. And then not only did I have hip surgery, I had a double disc replacement in my neck.”

However, being physically fit is a big part of Pink’s lifestyle, her stage shows are packed with acrobatic elements and stunts at dizzying heights, which is why the 16 kilos should come down again. With hard training, the singer has achieved her goal and now she feels stronger than ever in her life.

Pink: “I could kick my 33-year-old self’s ass”

Being successful in the music business for a long time and being able to pull off big stage shows is not a matter of course, Pink knows that too. Her physical ambition is not least due to music icon Tina Turner, with whom she shares the same manager: “I saw Tina when she was 69 years old, how she choreographed like a madman about Christian Louboutin’s And I was like, ‘Shit. Now I don’t have an excuse anymore.'” In the interview, Pink goes on to reveal that she looks to the big ones and wants to keep up with them in order to become “a better person, a better person mother, a better daughter, a better sister, a better actress, a better writer”. After all, time does not work in a positive sense for people.

At 43, the singer now feels stronger than before and could kick her 33-year-old ass for how fit she is now. A result that she is also allowed to present in the “Women’s Health” magazine. Under the cover photo, she writes on Instagram: “I’ve worked hard for this body and this body works hard for me.” And you can see that, Pink is radiant and can really enjoy her album release with her new feel-good body.
