Jim Moore, the father of US singer Pink, has prostate cancer and also broke his back. His daughter reveals how he deals with it.
Singer Pink (40, "Beautiful Trauma") is worried about her father Jim Moore. In an Instagram post, the 40-year-old explains that her father has cancer. He recently completed the second round of chemotherapy for prostate cancer, the singer writes for a photo in which her father is lying in a hospital bed. But that's not all that is bothering him. The Vietnam veteran also broke his back and needed an operation.
He is brave
On the snapshot from the clinic, Jim Moore grins broadly into the camera while holding his partner's hand. Her father was "scared and in pain," said Pink. But instead of complaining about his suffering, "he smiles and jokes. So that everyone else feels better," explains the singer with admiration.
He would go back to his old tricks and talk about napalm, snipers, fours and puddles of blood. His famous daughter says, "Oh dad. How incredible it is to see you whistle through hell."
