Pink has been recovering from hip surgery for a week. She now reports on the “brutal” times on Instagram.
Singer Pink (42) has been recovering from a violent hip operation for seven days. She shares the experience on Instagram with her fans and thanks her husband Carey Hart (46). “It was a brutal first week full of tears and depression and ulcers from the medication and constant fever,” the singer reports on a recent photo from a child’s room, in which she is smiling again.

Hart, however, would have gotten her through there, Pink continues: “He brought me coffee in the shower, lugged my 100-pound apparatus everywhere I went, dried my tears, cooked me oatmeal, made sure I take my medication, me Got my cell phone charger, plugged in my compression equipment, checked my temperature, made the bed and stopped me from jumping out the window. “
It is not known why Pink had to undergo this operation. “Life always reminds us that most setbacks are really just pauses and opportunities to recalibrate and practice gratitude,” she continues. She has now also learned to accept help and will recover completely, she reassured her fans.

Pink himself knows what it’s like to play the male nurse. Hart had an operation on his shoulder last August and on his spine in September. He also thanked his wife via Instagram: “And a special thank you to my wonderful wife / nurse, who took such wonderful care of me during all of this. I love you baby.”
