She is just 44 years old, but she always receives stupid comments because of her age. Pink doesn’t let that sit.

“Pink has gotten old”: One thing about this sentence Singer Pink (44) reacted to Twitter users and made it clear that she would not allow herself to be insulted because of her age. On the contrary, she is “grateful” to be getting older.

Growing older as a blessing

A few days ago, the singer announced that she was extending her “Summer Carnival” tour and would be playing 17 more shows across North America next summer and fall. The mother of two likes to appear on stage in skimpy outfits – like many pop stars.

She didn’t want to just leave it alone when a Twitter user made a derogatory comment on her appearance after the tour news. “Yes, even though I don’t feel old and can still wear leotards to work, getting older is actually my first ‘gratitude’ every day,” she replied on X (formerly Twitter) and was referring to the skin-tight bodysuits in which she performs aerial acrobatics for her fans. The singer continued: “What a blessing to have years. To be so strong, to be able to still piss off complete strangers just by existing.”

Already in 2018 she defended herself against an age comment

This isn’t the first time the “Trustfall” singer has called out social media haters. In 2018, someone tweeted that pink looked “so old it should be called purple instead.”

That’s when she replied saying, “You must be from LA. Well, there are still a few people in the world who choose to age naturally.” She also deserved “every damn minute” of her life. “But what do you look like?” she asked. “Because I never heard of you until you put my name in your mouth. I’ll call you little purple troll.”

She then made it clear in another tweet: “I believe that growing old is a blessing – if your face has wrinkles around your eyes and mouth, it means you have laughed a lot.” She prays to look older in 10 years, “because that means I’m alive,” Pink said.
