The rumor has been circulating for several months, Google has still not announced its hypothetical folding smartphone. However, we should have news on this subject very soon.
Phones with a foldable screen have been on the rise for a while now. Samsung has totally embraced this phenomenon with its Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. Other brands should in turn enter this very attractive market in the months to come. And the name of Google often comes up in discussions. Today, a new rumor is floating around about a potential Pixel Fold.

We have to go back to March 2021 for the first rumors about this project to appear on the Web. Alas, Google has still not mentioned the subject officially. But, if we are to believe a tweet posted by insider Ross Young, the Sundar Pichai-led company is still working on the Pixel Fold. It is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023.
Also according to Young, the screens will begin to be shipped from next January. Thus, Google should speak before the end of March 2023. The multinational recently made headlines by unveiling its Pixel 7 range and its Pixel Watch watch. So all that’s missing is a folding smartphone to top it all off!
