For the 2023 financial year, the turnover of the PIZZORNO Environnement Group stands at

€264.6 million, an increase of +16.6% compared to 2022. The Group thus records a 3

^th

year of consecutive growth driven by good momentum in the Group’s two businesses.

The activity

Cleanliness

rose sharply by +18.6% to €207.3 million, driven both by an excellent contract renewal rate (+98.5%) and the start of new contracts such as that of the city of Marseille. Furthermore, 2023 includes in a full year all the services relating to the collection contract of the European Metropolis of Lille (€161 million over 7 years).

The Group thus demonstrates its ability to adapt to the uniqueness of territories and respond to the challenges of all communities.

The turnover of the activity

Treatment-Valorisation

amounted to €57.2 million, up 10.1% over one year. Growth is driven, among other things, by the opening of the professional recycling center in Sainte-Maxime and the increase in tonnages and prices on the Ecopôle Azur Valorisation site.

Furthermore, as part of the management of the Toulon UVE, the Zephire activity

recorded a turnover of €36 million as of December 31, 2023, an increase of 20%.

Outlook and developments

Considering the level of activity achieved over the entire 2023 financial year and the Group’s financial discipline, PIZZORNO Environnement anticipates a solid operational performance for the financial year ending December 31, 2023.

PIZZORNO Environnement approaches the year 2024 with confidence, marking 50 years of the family business serving 1 in 10 French people.

The start of the year remained strong within the Group’s two businesses, treatment and cleaning, with new commercial successes, particularly in the area of ​​bio-waste management and material recovery.

Thus, the City of Draguignan renewed its urban cleanliness contract for a period of 5 years, representing an amount of €11.2 million.

The city of Antibes is renewing the Group for urban road cleaning services for an amount of €7.6 million over 4 years.

The Ecopôle Azur Valorisation also obtained the management of the treatment of bulky items and wood from recycling centers in the eastern part of the SITTOMAT territory and the Community of Communes of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez (€16.5 million over 4 years) . Furthermore, SITTOMAT awarded the Group the maintenance and transport of skips from recycling centers in the municipalities of La Crau, Carqueiranne and Hyères-les-Palmiers for an amount of €2.9 million over 4 years.

Finally, the city of Lyon chose the PIZZORNO Environnement Group for the provision, installation, removal and washing of containers allowing the sorting of waste from fairground market exhibitors on the municipal territory for a period of 3 years representing €1.6 million.

This commercial dynamic illustrates on the one hand the trust placed by customers but also the Group’s ability to reinvent itself and evolve its value creation model in responsible waste management.
