- Speedweek runs on some streets until April 21st.

- Bavaria takes part in the marathon, but does not take part in Speedweek.
This year too, drivers have to prepare for the speed camera marathon. A particularly large number of speed checks are carried out on one day. In some federal states, the police are even stepping up for a whole week. The reason for this is that we want to combat the number one cause of accidents: speeding.
According to the ADAC, Bavaria will take part in the marathon. The so-called Speedweek, which takes place from the 15th to the 21st, is not part of the measures taking place there.

Apart from that, it should be mentioned again that you should always move safely through traffic – regardless of whether it is a speed camera marathon or not. This not only protects yourself, but also other people who may not be involved.
Speed Week in April
In addition to the speed camera marathon on April 19th, there is even Speedweek in various federal states. This will take place from April 15th to 21st. As already mentioned, the state of Bavaria will not take part in the campaign. Nevertheless, it is recommended to be particularly careful in April, as surprise checks could also occur outside of the campaign.
