Placebo make their musical comeback. Stefan Olsdal and Brian Molko will be on stage at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
Placebo join the list of music greats who will be on stage at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2022. This was announced by the twin festival on Monday. “We are overjoyed to present you with an absolute hit: Placebo”, it says on the website of Rock im Park.
Placebo celebrate their comeback in 2022
Singer and guitarist Brian Molko (49) and bassist Stefan Olsdal (47) are currently celebrating their comeback with Placebo. The British alternative rock band just released their new album “Never Let Me Go” last Friday. The last long player to date, “Loud Like Love”, was released in 2013. In autumn 2022, the rockers will also go on a big European tour, which will take them to Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich in October.
Before that, however, they will be on stage at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. The two festivals will take place from June 3rd to 5th. The line-up is led by headliners Volbeat, Green Day and Muse. In addition to Placebo, Beatsteaks, Billy Talent, Korn, Jan Delay (46), Måneskin, Marteria, Scooter, Casper (39), Lewis Capaldi (25) and Sportfreunde Stiller will also perform.
