(CercleFinance.com) – Plastic Omnium announces the closing of the acquisition, entirely self-financed, of 100% of ACTIA Power, a division of the ACTIA Group for an enterprise value of 52.5 million euros.
ACTIA Power will be consolidated in the accounts of Plastic Omnium from August 1, 2022.
ACTIA Power generated revenue of €22 million in 2021. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of on-board batteries, power electronics and electrification systems for electric truck mobility , buses, coaches, trains and construction machinery.
This acquisition should enable the group to meet the needs of all combustion and electric vehicles, whether hybrid, plug-in hybrid, battery or fuel cell.
Plastic Omnium will also benefit from a new technological platform and state-of-the-art R&D capabilities in the design of electronic components, electrical energy storage and management systems.
