It’s been two weeks since Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the new PlayStation 5 model, which everyone agreed to call “slim” as with previous revisions of this type carried out by the brand. In addition to a 30% smaller volume and real 1 TB storage on the internal SSD, the main feature of this PS5 Slim will be to have a detachable disc player, which will allow buyers of the so-called “Digital” version to subsequently improve their console, or even those who have a problem with the device in the future to easily replace it. CharlieIntel has in fact reported, with supporting photos, the existence ofa pack including a PS5 Slim with disc player and the digital game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III expected on November 10which will include the DLC temporarily exclusive to players PlayStationTHE Lockpick Operator Pack. Yes, the fact thatActivision Blizzard King has finally been bought by Microsoft does not change anything in the contracts still in progress. Yes, Sony Interactive Entertainment has apparently taken protective measures requiring a mandatory internet connection on first use, which we imagine to be present so that no third-party manufacturer offers its own player. The problem is that this new PS5 model will ultimately replace the one available since the end of 2020. In the future, the closure of servers and other services linked to the console could therefore potentially affect the very possibility of adding a player to enjoy the physical games purchased…
