This Monday was busy on the side of Sony Interactive Entertainmentbetween the announcement of a State of Play for Gran Turismo 7that of MLB The Show 22 in multiplatform and the arrival of Bungie within PlayStation Studios following its takeover. And so it’s not over, since we now learn thatit is finally possible to connect our account NHP at Discord. However, the news does not come out of nowhere since we learned last May of the investment of EIS in the instant messaging company and its integration into the Playstation Network. So it finally materializes and an article on the blog of Discord tells us how to do it.
The deployment will be gradual, but here is the procedure to follow, which does not change from that for the other services:
- Go to User Settings then Connections;
- Select PlayStation Network;
- Enter your login credentials for your PSN account via the pop-up window that appears and you’re done.
Once done, you will see two options appear to show or not your connection status to the NHP and your nickname on the service. However, you will also need to have selected “Everyone” in the settings NHP of privacy regarding who can see your profile and what you play.
When they are linked together, the game you are playing on PS5 or PS4 will therefore be displayed on Discord and you can even show your username NHP on your profile.
