Game news PlayStation Plus: 4 “free” PS5 and PS4 video games in March 2024, including one that beats you (literally)

Here we are at the end of February and like every last Wednesday of the month, Sony reveals the titles that will be delivered to all PlayStation Plus subscribers. And for March 2024, we have not three, but four surprises!

Well established for fourteen years now (yes, just that), PlayStation Plus continues its journey with confidence and always with the same formula: each month, a handful of video games are “given” to all subscribers and they can keep them in their collection forever… but they can only play them if they remain subscribed. Not crazy, the wasp.

For the month of March 2024, the Japanese giant has not limited itself to three games as is often customary, but to four: finally, let’s say that there is a big extension of a free-to-play in the prize which promises long hours of play. In short, from Tuesday March 5, here is what you will be entitled to:

Note also that PS Plus subscribers will be able to collect a new cosmetic pack for the free-to-play FPS The Finals, including two epic outfits and twelve epic weapon skins.

EA Sports F1 23, the simulation that explodes

There have been plenty of Formula One games for decades and it’s not about to stop: EA Sports F1 23 is the latest addition to the saga, released just last year ( while waiting for the new batch of 2024, the first trailer of which has just been released, with a release date set for May 31). It is therefore a pure automotive simulation, placing you behind the wheel of all possible F1 cars in the championship with all the drivers: new Story mode, new circuits, an expanded online or split-screen multiplayer mode, another allowing you to create your own stable and develop in the long term… There is plenty to do. At JV, it’s a nice 16/20.

Sifu, a gift that arrives at the right time

It was in 2022 that the talented French studio SloClap released Sifu, by far one of the most refreshing games of the start of the generation. Here we have a pure 3D fighting juice in which a young apprentice, expert in martial arts, sets out in search of revenge against the clan who murdered his father: the concept is based in particular on a mystical facet since with each death , our character ages and therefore becomes stronger because he is more experienced… but also more vulnerable. Let it be said, Sifu is a really good title with demanding gameplay but oh so satisfying, the remarkable work on the animations and the atmosphere doing the job wonderfully well. Courage, you will get there (and it’s worth it, between us).

Hello Neighbor 2, survival and thrills

We’ve all had a weird or a little noisy neighbor (unless you’re that neighbor yourself), but the one in question here beats all the records: in Hello Neighbor 2, you play a child who climbs into the sinister residence next door to reveal its lugubrious mysteries… except that the host is not really welcoming. Combining thrills and infiltration, this game by Eerie Guest and tinyBuild proves very effective in its atmosphere and level design, and the license is seriously starting to have a solid community. Now is the time to try the experience.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen

We all know Destiny 2 (right?), Bungie’s huge service game which hasn’t yet said its last word. While waiting for the next expansion The Final Form, Sony is delivering “free” to PS Plus subscribers The Witch Queen, a huge DLC sold at a price of 29.99 euros and offering new areas, the “Legendary” difficulty, a power level increased to 1500, the Glaive which serves as a new weapon (among others) and, above all, the possibility of creating your own weapons. In short, long hours of play for this free-to-play that needs no introduction, to be devoured alone or in cooperation.
