It’s back to school! And in 24 hours, the free PS Plus games for December will be overwritten by 3 new titles to grab for download on PS4 and PS5. This month: Dwarven Co-op, the unlikely sequel to a cult J-RPG, and a fairly recent racing game. Oh, and happy new year everyone!
The info was already published a few days ago by the official Playstation accounts, but maybe you’ve just returned from a well-deserved vacation: the 3 new games available for free download for the month of January have been unveiled and will be available tomorrow. Which means thatyou only have 24 hours left if you want to grab the lite version of Godfall and the other December games.
Deep Rock Galactic on PS4 and PS5
In DRG, you lead a squad of 4 dwarves in the cavernous (randomly generated) networks of hostile planets, in search of precious minerals for your company. Each class of miner has its own exploration tools, for a synergy on the ground quite enjoyable. This is a great title, and one that continues to be updated regularly by Ghost Ship Games: you would be well advised to train 3 friends for a few coop evenings on it, little risk that you will regret it. Our guide to getting started.
Persona 5 Strikers on PS4
One musou not so musou than that for this real fake sequel to the cult Persona 5. Atlus has left the reins to Omega Force to provide action gameplay worthy of the name for this new episode that will take the Phantom Thieves gang across Japan.. Rather demanding and still keeping all the specifics related to the classic gaming systems of the Megaten license, P5S is a must-have if you want to put on Joker’s boots for a few dozen additional hours. See our full review of the game.
Dirt 5 on PS4 and PS5
One of the first games that accompanied the release of new generation consoles is also found in the proposals for this month of January.. Not much to say about Dirt 5: the Codemasters series is following its path and if this fifth opus does the job in terms of content and driving feeling (always more arcade), it does not revolutionize the wheel. If you chomp on your brakes while contemplating the screens From Forza Horizon 5 to your buddies on Xbox, not sure if D5 manages to cut your teeth, but it’s still good to take.
