PlayStation VR2 will arrive in early 2023

the PlayStation VR2 is a new sign that some publishers and manufacturers in the video game industry like to annoy the press. It is therefore without warning at midnight that sony split from a three word tweet (and a hashtag) to communicate on the release of its next virtual reality headset after presenting its user experience.

PlayStation VR2 will miss 2022

The PlayStation VR2 will be released early 2023, we imagine before March 31 to please the shareholders of Sony and the publishers of the games that will accompany the launch of the helmet. We remind you that there are more than twenty games (or VR versions) currently in development, the exclusivity of which Horizon Call of the Mountain or the remake of Resident Evil 4 which will be compatible and which will be released on March 24, 2023, as if by chance.

We must admit that this way of balancing information is surprising and makes us ask questions on the eve of the opening ceremony of gamescom which could therefore why not contain one or more PSVR2 games, we recall that Sony had already entrusted the announcement of the remake of The Last of Us to Geoff Keighley when there had been a State of Play the previous week so why not?

See you in early 2023 for the release of PlayStation VR2, or by then for the announcement of a more precise date or price. We wouldn’t say no to a back-to-school State of Play either, huh…
