In order not to leave the PC market to the only Xbox Series Controller or the Xbox Elite Series, Sony continues to improve its formidable DualSense controller far from the only PS5.

PlayStation has thus announced the deployment of a new firmware to improve the performance of the DualSense on PC.

No support for automatic adaptive triggers

Thus Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC users will benefit from better controller performance in terms of compatibility. Please note that this does not automatically add support for adaptive triggers and haptic feedback to all PC games. This is at the discretion of the game developers.

On its support page, Sony does not specify the nature of the improvements made.

So far, there are still few titles that take full advantage of the strengths of the DualSense. Note Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition, God of War or death loopbut it was often until then by connecting the controller via USB to the PC and not by using the Bluetooth connection.

Some PC games compatible with DualSense features

  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
