Plus belle la vie: did Kilian attack Betty?

The situation between Betty and Kilian is increasingly worrying. The next episodes of “Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle” will indeed be marked by a drama which could have serious consequences.

The dramas follow one another and are not alike in Plus belle la vie, even plus belle. After the poisoning of Francesco and the kidnapping of Léa, a new tragedy is indeed about to affect the inhabitants of the Mistral.

Betty sinks into madness

A few days ago, Betty (Horya Benabet) made her comeback to Marseille after receiving a message from Kilian (Tim Rousseau) asking for a divorce. As usual, the young girl is not ready to let her first love slip through her fingers.

She tries by all means to win back Kilian’s heart, in vain. The latter, who fell under the spell of Aya, his work colleague, has no desire to reconnect with his ex. Unfortunately for him, Betty has a hard time dealing with being told no.

Since the beginning of the week, she has been sinking deeper and deeper into madness. After trying to put pressure on Kilian by threatening to take control of the Mistral thanks to the shares she could gain at the time of the divorce, she burned her hand to prove her love to him.

She then made everyone in Mistral believe that it was Kilian who inflicted this injury on her. “If you continue to talk to me about divorce, I will report you for violence”, she added. And given Kilian’s background, no one will believe in his innocence. Unfortunately for the young man, Betty’s madness is not about to stop.

Did Kilian attack Betty?

At the end of the episode of Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, broadcast this Thursday, April 25 on TF1, Kilian and Aya are alone in the Mistral when Betty bursts in. The latter then declares to her ex that all that matters to her is that he gets back together.

But Kilian does not want to give in. That’s when Betty grabs a kitchen knife. She threatens to slit her veins to prove her love and then turns the gun on Aya. Kilian manages to calm her down by bringing Aya out.

The episode then takes an ellipse. We find Kilian wandering the deserted streets, in what appears to be a state of shock. He has a blood stain on his t-shirt. Did he hurt himself or is the blood Betty’s? Exhausted by Betty’s psychological blackmail, has Kilian committed the irreparable?

Betty committed suicide

In this Friday’s episode, the inhabitants of Mistral will discover that Betty has disappeared. Jules indeed noticed that the young girl had not come home all night. The latter also entrusted Yolande with a letter in which she said goodbye.

She informs him that she is going to go to the beach where she made love for the first time with Kilian in order to “put an end to one’s life“. Kilian and Jules then go to the scene, but, upon their arrival, they discover the girl’s things abandoned on the sand. Inside Betty’s shoes is her wedding ring.

The young girl therefore seems to have committed suicide, which therefore exonerates Kilian. But in Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, things are never that simple. According to the short summaries of the next episodes, the police will find “several inconsistencies and worrying elements” regarding Betty’s disappearance.

The noose will tighten around Killian who will have to prove his innocence. Will the young man manage to escape? Is he really as innocent as he claims? And is Betty really dead? Answer in the next episodes of Plus belle la vie, even plus belle.
