The 2024 school year will be marked by many new features for TF1. On January 8, the cult series “Plus Belle la vie” will return to the channel, which will also launch a new video streaming service. Finally, the channel will launch its highly anticipated morning news show, with Bruce Toussaint.

Many new features await the TF1 group at the start of the 2024 school year. They will all be launched on Monday January 8, 2024, announced the channel’s boss, Rodolphe Belmer, in an interview with Figaro. Starting with the return of a cult soap opera: More beautiful life. The series, broadcast for 18 years on France 3, will be broadcast every day after the 1 p.m. news. Filming has already resumed in Marseille. It remains to be seen whether the fans will be there, because it is the first time that More beautiful life will be broadcast this early in the day.

A new streaming service

But those who miss the broadcast will be able to catch up on the new TF1 platform. Entitled TF1+, this video streaming service will be completely free and distributed on Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom boxes and on the majority of connected televisions.

TF1+ will be different from MyTF1, which only leaves seven days to catch up on replay programs. With TF1+, it will be between 30 days and four years. There will be 15,000 hours of programs at any given time. You can see news bulletins of 3 to 6 minutes, films, series, and even old seasons of Koh Lanta Or The Voice.

The new TF1 morning news show, with Bruce Toussaint at the helm, will also be launched on January 8.
