The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi wants to launch a cheap smartwatch with an AMOLED display via the Poco brand, as a leaker has learned. The watch is very reminiscent of an existing model, the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite, but could offer a little more.

The well-known leaker Steve H. McFly (OnLeaks) reports on a new smartwatch that could be released as the Poco Watch. Appearance and some functions are apparently influenced by the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite and Redmi Watch Lite accepted. The addition of “Lite” to the original models should also make it clear that this is not a particularly high-quality smartwatch.
According to initial information, the Poco Watch uses an AMOLED display, one 1.6 inch diagonal and has a resolution of 360 x 320 pixels. The Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite has a 1.4-inch display with 320 x 320 pixels. In terms of design, both watches are based on the Apple Watch with its rounded corners.
For further equipment, it has so far been said that the Poco Watch may have one optical sensor for measuring heart rate owns. A blood oxygen measurement is also reported, although we should first wait for the official presentation of the smartwatch. It should be waterproof up to 5 ATM.
