The 2022 Pokémon World Championships take place this week and Niantic’s game, Pokémon GO will be there with its own competition. An event will also be available for the occasion.
A Twitch-related event during Pokémon Worlds
If the Worlds 2022 will offer a complete retransmission through the Twitch platform, it is also an opportunity for players who have not been able to travel or who want to follow this competition from home to have access to an exclusive one-off study. To be able to obtain it, it will not be very complicated sinceyou will just have to follow the world championships and watch in the chat. A message will periodically appear for you give a code that must then be entered in the “Shop” tab of the game or on the Niantic website through this method.

- Log in with your account linked to Pokémon GO.
- Enter the code retrieved during the Twitch stream.
- Collect in-game rewards.
What will the Pokémon GO study consist of?
The study that you will unlock thanks to the code will allow you to learn about combat and choose from among the Pokémon encounters offered in order to create a competitive team for the Super League. Among the choices you will have, there are nine Pokémon divided into three teams that you find below.
- Team Option 1 : Migalos, Bekipan and Galarian Lemon
- Team Option 2 : Skarmory, Laggron and Drascore
- Team Option 3 : Flambusard, Venusaur and Moyade
Note that Venusaur, Airmure and Limonde de Galar can be encountered in shiny versions.
Where to watch Pokémon GO Worlds?
Maybe you weren’t aware that Pokémon GO was going to have a place at Pokémon Worlds this year or that it’s being broadcast on Twitch, but don’t worry, we’ve summarized the information you need to know so you don’t miss neither the code nor the streams. First of all, you should know that this event lasts until August 21 and the part dedicated to Pokémon GO will be broadcast on Pokémon GO Twitch channel and not that of Pokemon. Then, you have to know the start times of the streams to be sure not to miss them.
