A new game mechanic

The new Sword and Shield – Lost Origin expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game marks the return of the Lost Zone game mechanic.

This is the first time the Lost Zone game mechanic has appeared in the Sword and Shield series, which has shaken up the Pokémon TCG metagame. The Lost Zone is similar to the discard pile, but players cannot retrieve cards placed in the Lost Zone of the game. Maps using the Lost Zone, such as Giratina-VSTAR, are characterized by a shadowy aura emanating from the artwork.

A new Mystery Gift is available on Pokémon Legends Arceus. Here’s what it contains and how to get it.
