Pokémon Fossil Museum: the event will be held again this year

The Pokémon Fossil Museum is an event that will officially be held for its second year in a row in March 2022, and will be active for a few months in several science museums in Japan. For all fans of archeology and even of Pokemon, it will be interesting to follow the event. In addition, we can even see the comparison between the fossils of the games Pokemon, and their equivalent in real life!

Where when how ?

It is above all a scientific event, which will aim to introduce children to archeology. An archaeologist Pikachu mascot will also be there. The Pokémon Fossil Museum will first be held in 3 different museums, including the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo Prefecture from March 15 to June 19 for its first edition. It is then scheduled in Aichi prefecture for this summer, and in Oita prefecture for this winter.

We even had the right to a trailer. We could see some Pokémon and especially fossils of the Nintendo license with Rexilius and Bastiodon to recite nobody else but them. It’s always a pleasure to see our favorite licenses develop in this way. The ambition of this event being to represent the Pokémon in question in real size, we can not wait to see a Rexilius in a museum the size of a real tyrannosaurus.

This is not the first time that the Pokémon Fossil Museum took place, but this year the event takes on a whole new dimension. Can we hope to see this one day in Europe? In the same theme, remember the release of the next license game, Pokémon Legends Arceus, scheduled for Switch on January 28.
