Pokemon GO: A game bug causes a new type of Eevee to appear?

Eevee is undoubtedly one of the most popular Pokémon since the beginning of the franchise. In the early games, choosing among the then three possible evolutions was a difficult decision and clearly contributed to divide players into three clans who defended their favorite evolution with fervor. Faced with such enthusiasm for the concept of the Pokémon, the publishers were then almost forced to offer ever more evolution by adding new mechanics in order to trigger them.

In Pokemon GO, you don’t have to count your steps if you want to get all the possible types, so you feel proud when finally the collection is complete. If you are a relentless, beyond the whole family, you may even have all the Evolis in their chromatic version. But do you have a Brown Phyllali ?

Gone are the days when only three evolutions were available to us.

A unique chromatic Phylalli?

When you think you know all the Pokémon, coming across a new face must be weird. Especially when it’s actually a well-known Pokemon that doesn’t have not the right colors at all. The image comes to us from Reddit where the user mimithrowaway shared an amazing screenshot in the subreddit r/pokemongo on April 4:

It’s not all trivial…

No need to look everywhere for this brown Phyllali in the game, it is most likely a display bug. Given the color scheme, one user of the site points out that these are probably the colors of the Meloetta which transposed to the adversary, creating this very strange glitch.

Other commentaries go there well on the smoky theories. The most popular is that it is actuallyan “avocado” type Phyllali and that therefore it browns if left too long in the open air. Another, more poetic, assumes that Eevee would have evolved in late autumnthus adapting the color of its leaves to its environment.

Anyway, if you too come across a brown Phyllali in your adventure, Niantic we may need some explanation…

Available since the April Team GO Rocket event, here’s how to get a Tritox and evolve it into Malamander on Pokémon GO.
