A new, very bizarre glitch has appeared on Pokémon Go, evolving an Eevee into a ghost which is quite scary.
Niantic’s best mobile game, Pokémon Go, is clearly no stranger to bugs and errors of all kinds, especially after more than 5 years of existence on smartphones around the world. The latest glitch concerns the Pokémon Eevee which turned into a ghost during an evolution.
It’s a glitch that has been nicknamed “Eeveelution” by English speakers on Reddit, but can be translated as “Evolition” in French. They even consider this glitch as a new evolution of the Pokémon, after the Water (Aquali), Electric (Voltali), Fire (Pyroli), Psy (Mentali), Dark (Noctali), Plants (Phyllali), Ice (Givrali) & Fairy (Nymphali).
Eevee is so popular with gamers that it even has the right to its game with Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee.
This latest glitchy evolution would therefore be of a new “Ghost” type, never before seen in the Pokémon franchise. In any case, that’s the story told by user “JewBaccaWookiee” on Reddit.
“Interesting New Evolition”
The picture shows that the trainer used the nickname “Kira” to evolve his Eevee into Nymphali. Except that the evolution obviously did not go as planned, with the Pokémon being almost completely invisible, only with one eye visible in the screenshot.
At the moment, we have not yet had any information regarding a potential new evolution of Eevee since the appearance of Nymphali in 2013 with the Pokémon X & Y games. There are still many types missing including Dragon, Steel, Specter. , Flight, Rock, Ground, Combat, Poison and Insect.
We may be entitled to a newcomer to this already large family during the reveal of the 9th generation of Pokémon that should soon be seen!
