In Pokémon Go, the second one-piece bundle that no longer contains the Remote Raid Pass has been released, and players can’t believe their eyes at how quickly Niantic has nerfed the value of this bundle.
On May 21, Niantic announced that it wanted to remove the Remote Raid Pass available each week in the PokéCoin bundle from the store. This decision came after all a series of nerves already committed and very badly received by the community. Very soon, a wave of protests set in on social networks and in particular Reddit where a whole section of activity on Pokémon Go is organized for thousands of players.
However, when the first bundle following this announcement was released on the following May 23, players weren’t quite sure which foot to dance to. Indeed, there were three Super-Incubators inside, objects with a value much higher than that of a Remote Raid Pass.
However, it would have been innocent enough to think that these were recurring items and that Niantic would offer bundles of such value week after week. A premonition which was quickly verified the following week but which still surprised more than one player, as the difference in content of the bundle was uneven.

This Monday, May 30 in the early morning, the second bundle no longer including the Remote Raid Pass therefore appeared in the store. Players hoping, like the previous week, that its content would still be interesting, fell from a very high level when opening it.
On Reddit, it didn’t take long for posts to emerge to share this disappointment. We thus find there GogoSchmitta user who posted an image of the bundle with the following comment:
“Niantic is bullshit.”
Soon, dozens of other posts came out to share their anger and sense of betrayal after watching the value of this pack plummet in just one week. Players obviously expected this pack to gradually lose value, but many hoped that Niantic would do a minimum of effort and pass this change more gently to players for a few more weeks.
“Do you remember how hopeful we were after the Super Incubator 3 pack?”, recalls a player. Another adds: “I mostly feel like these are things that people will quickly end up throwing away, I’m not even sure they’re worth a coin.”
To mark the occasion and signify their refusal to Niantic to accept these changes without flinching, the players therefore organized the Pokémon NO Day, on May 30. This boycott of the game was perhaps only a drop in the ocean of players who play without really following the news around the game and the debates that are regularly raised by its community on the Internet.
Still, the one organized in August 2021 had been massively shared and had forced Niantic to reactwithout managing to redeem himself with the fans.
