Pokémon in Animal Crossing? An artist imagines the crossover

A Pokémon and Animal Crossing fan artist has imagined a crazy crossover between the two franchises. Cuteness guaranteed!

Each generation has its own essential games that rock the imagination of millions of players – young and old – forever. If you grew up in the 2000s and were the proud owner of a Nintendo console, then it’s a safe bet that Pokémon and/or Animal Crossing have a very special place in your heart.

Despite the immense success of the two franchises, fans have never had the right to a major crossover between the two licenses. If we can find Pokémon and the Villager in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, many are hoping for a larger project: Pokémon in Animal Crossing… who wouldn’t dream of it?

The Okeypokes artist is undoubtedly one of the enthusiastic fans of this idea, and he hasn’t just hoped that this exceptional crossover will ever happen. Indeed, this talented artist has armed himself with his pencils and his talent to offer his own village Pokémon.

When Pokémon become villagers on Animal Crossing

Drawing inspiration from Animal Crossing codes and the design of some of the franchise’s most iconic Pokemon, Okeypokes got to work, spawning dozens of villagers with different moods and outfits.

From the old Dracolosse with his cane to the jaded Mewtwo passing by the inevitable Psyduck a bit simpleton, many village monsters are born under the strokes of the expert pencils of the artist.

Packed by the Okeypokes project, a 3D artist under the pseudonym Marproz_3D hastened to reproduce in three dimensions the Eevee Villager. The result is stunning and has left hundreds of Internet users dreaming, who have not failed to congratulate the unexpected collaboration between the two fans.

Unfortunately, no official crossover between Pokémon and Animal Crossing has been announced, and it’s entirely possible that such a reunion of the franchises is in no way planned by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. For now, we will therefore have to content ourselves with the mind-blowing work of our most inspired artists.
