Pokémon Legends: Arceus arrived exclusively on Nintendo Switch at the start of 2022. And if at its official launch, there was a debate between players, particularly regarding its artistic direction and graphics , only Pokémon Legends: Arceus was able to convince.
Indeed, Nintendo recently unveiled its latest financial results. The firm has indicated that Pokémon Legends: Arceus has sold over 12 million copies, worldwide. These figures take into account the sales made since the official release date of the software, that is to say on January 28, and this until March 31. Nintendo says 3.46 million copies have been sold in Japan, compared to 9.17 million worldwide. Moreover, it’s a safe bet that these figures will rise further in the coming months.
For the moment, Pokémon Legends: Arceus has not broken the sales records set by previous games. Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, Pokémon Sparkling Diamond and Pokémon Sparkling Pearl remain in the lead.
