Pokémon Legends ZA is the next title in the Pokémon game series. Nintendo announced the game for the Nintendo Switch during the “Pokémon Presents” event in 2025.
According to the trailer, the game takes you to the futuristic metropolis Lumiose City, known from Pokémon X & Y. The focus is on an urban redevelopment project that aims to transform Lumiose City into a place where people and Pokémon live together in harmony .
Reintroduction of Mega Evolutions
At the end of the video you can see the Mega Evolution symbol. This could indicate a reintroduction of these into the game. Mega Evolutions deepen the bond between Pokémon and trainers and enable new possibilities in battle.
In contrast to Pokémon Legends Arceus, in which you traveled through vast, natural regions, Pokémon Legends: ZA plays in a lively urban environment.
