Announced in February 2022, Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet is the next installment of the license to land on Nintendo Switch. With many new features, The Pokémon Company had given us an appointment on this 1er June to learn a little more about its content, its possibilities and, above all, its release date. We were not disappointed.
A release date and a new trailer
Regarding the release date of Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Purple, we won’t be beating around the bush any longer. As expected, we will take advantage of this at the end of the year, from Friday 18 November. Both versions will make themselves available only on Nintendo Switch.
At the same time, new information has been shared, via the trailer. For example, depending on the version chosen, we will be dealing with Professor Olim (Scarlet) or Turum (Purple), a first for the franchise. In the same idea, your character will have a different outfit, which varies with the version. As for the people you meet, like Menzi, your comrade and friend, that won’t change. The latter will allow you to learn much more about this world and the Pokémon that inhabit it.
The gameplay will also be turned upside down with Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Purple, since we will be immersed in an open world, as revealed during its announcement. You will no longer be forced to follow the main storyline and can go about your business and explore. In addition, a cooperative mode up to four players will be part of the gamefor “ enjoy the series’ signature activities, such as trading and battling Pokémon, as well as exploring the different locations in the region with other players “.
Finally, to conclude, we were able to discover the two legendary Pokémon, which are Koraidon and Miraidon, one being quite special, as we see at the end of the trailer. As for the starters, remember that they have already been revealed by the developers.
