Police ended it – overflow tuning meeting escalated completely

At the moment, everyone is using the regained freedom to celebrate! This was also the case at the tuning meeting in Hofkirchen an der Trattnach in Upper Austria. Much more than the expected 200 visitors came and it escalated to such an extent that the police became a “party crasher”.

The meeting of the screwdrivers and hobbyists was held by a group in Hofkirchen an der Trattnach on company premises. The organizers were expecting around 200 people to attend the event. The event was published on a social network and there were also around 200 commitments. However, there were significantly more visitors than expected. In the course of the evening, the event then took on excesses that the organizers could no longer control. The police reported that illegal street races, as well as “burnouts and donuts” were carried out on the B141 in the area of ​​the commercial area. Persons from the event management finally ended the event at around 11:15 p.m. after the police had already stopped by. Now it is being checked whether the meeting was legal at all and to what extent the modifications to the cars were registered and permitted – and who took part in the street races.
