Eyewitnesses: Hunger revolt in Gaza against Hamas

The anger of the people in Gaza is now also directed at the radical Islamic Hamas. Eyewitnesses and Israeli soldiers report demonstrations against the terrorists. Police officers then opened fire in the direction of the demonstrators.
According to eyewitnesses, hundreds of Palestinians demonstrated in the Gaza Strip for more aid deliveries and against Hamas. Participants in the spontaneous rally in the north of the coastal area held signs with slogans like “Down with Hamas!” and “We want to eat, end the war – our children are dying of hunger” skyrocket. Children reportedly knocked on empty dishes to show the lack of food.
Eyewitnesses reported that Hamas police officers fired in the direction of the demonstrators to disperse the people. There were initially no reports of injuries. The information could not initially be independently verified.
IDF reports outrage over Hamas leader
An Israeli army spokesman wrote on Platform X that Gazans expressed their outrage against Hamas and its leader in the Gaza Strip, Jihia al-Sinwar. He also released a video of the alleged protest. It was initially unclear whether it was about the rally in the north.

According to reports, riots recently broke out during food deliveries to the north of the coastal area after a three-week interruption. People climbed onto trucks – in some places entire trucks were looted. Shots were fired and a truck driver was attacked and injured. The WFP then announced that it would temporarily suspend food deliveries to the north of the Gaza Strip.
