Anneke Kim Sarnau gets a new partner at the Rostock “Polizeiruf 110” with Lina Beckmann.
Reinforcement for the Rostock “Polizeiruf 110”: Lina Beckmann (40) will support Anneke Kim Sarnau (49) as an investigator, as the NDR has now announced. The two form the duo Melly Böwe (Beckmann) and Katrin König (Sarnau), after Sascha Bukow (Charly Hübner, 48) will be seen in his last episode in January 2022. The special thing about it: Charly Hübner is handing it over to his wife, because the actor has been married to Lina Beckmann since 2012. The first case of the two women has the working title “Polizeiruf 110: Daniel A.” and is currently being shot until the end of September. A broadcast date has not yet been set.
“I’m very excited and so excited about this task!”, Lina Beckmann explains about her role in “Police Call 110”. “When I was asked, I was surprised and maybe also a little shocked, but I’m really happy. At my side are such fabulous colleagues who accompany me and whom I am allowed to accompany.” Her colleague Anneke Kim Sarnau knows Beckmann from the theater, as she says. She “has always admired her wild soul, her strength, her courage, her joy in playing”. “I can connect with it well and found the idea excellent, I am extremely curious and happy to go on the new journey with it,” continues Sarnau.
The character Melly Böwe is already known to “Polizeiruf 110” fans from the episode “Sabine” as Sascha Bukow’s half-sister. The episode aired in March.
What is the first episode of the investigative duo about?
What is “Polizeiruf 110: Daniel A.” is already known: the elementary school teacher Nathalie Gerber is found dead in the parking lot of a pub. Most recently, she had an appointment with the 23-year-old Daniel Adamek (Jonathan Perleth), who is now being searched for. But Daniel Adamek cannot report to the police: The trans man has not yet come out. His greatest fear is that his father (Jörg Witte, 56) will find out that his daughter is a man. The team around Katrin König and Melly Böwe are therefore in the dark and only have the latest information available from Nathalie’s dating app.
Boss Henning Röder (Uwe Preuss, 60), Anton Pöschel (Andreas Guenther, 47) and Volker Thiesler (Josef Heynert, 45) can still be seen in the Rockstocker “Polizeiruf”.
