Since Friday, traffic speeds in Gironde have been restricted by prefectural decree to 110 km/h on portions of motorways normally limited to 130 km/h, 90 km/h on motorways and expressways where it is customary to drive at 110 km/h and at 70 km/h on roads normally limited to 90 km/h or 80 km/h.
