The name of Julien Denormandie, former Minister of Agriculture, has been increasingly cited in recent hours as a possible tenant of Matignon. The Sébastien Lecornu hypothesis is also frequently mentioned, but the appointment of the current Minister of the Armed Forces comes up against the reluctance of both the boss of the MoDem, François Bayrou, and the secretary general of the Élysée, Alexis Kohler.
