Despite hours of styling, your hairstyle falls apart again? We’ll show you the best tricks on how to preserve your curls.

Curls are a total favorite among hairstyles! With a Curling irons, hot rollers or papillotes can be used to create pretty curls in medium to long hair in no time. However, the enthusiasm quickly fades. Because even though we spent several hours in front of the mirror, the painstakingly styled curls collapsed again after a very short time. To ensure your styling lasts all day (and the entire night of the party!), we have a few Tips and tricks put together for you to make your curls last.

1. Don’t wash your hair on the same day

Avoid washing your hair on the same day. Shampoo and conditioner make your mane nice and shiny, but they also make it more difficult to style. Those contained therein Care substances wrap around the individual hair fibers and weigh them down. This makes it impossible to style the hair with a curling iron.

2. Use styling products

To preserve your curls, you should have one Work mousse into hair. This makes the lengths more manageable and the mane can be shaped into the desired shape with a curling iron.

Important: To prevent hair damage, don’t forget to use heat protection! The heat protection spray can be sprayed directly onto dry hair. If you don’t want to use so many products, you can also use a mousse with integrated heat protection.

Be careful with hairspray: After styling (!), the fine spray mist should only be used on completely dry hair and in a well-dosed manner. Otherwise the lengths will be additionally weighed down and the curls will immediately hang out again. That’s how it works: It is best to distribute the hairspray from below at a distance of 20 centimeters. This keeps the look nice and fluffy and the curls last longer.

Alternatively, you can too Use hair wax or a special curling cream. To do this, rub a small amount into the palms of your hands and knead it into your curls. The curl cream maintains the natural elasticity.

3. Use the right tools

No matter whether you have glamor curls or beach waves – there is the right device for every hair structure and curl.

4. The perfect technology

Especially with long and thick hair, curls fall out very quickly. No panic! Of course, you shouldn’t have your mane cut off right away. But a few steps provide more ease. You see: Even with the right haircut, your curls last much longer.
