Novak Djokovic wins the French Open and is now the greatest tennis player of all time – at least in terms of the number of Grand Slam titles. With the victory over the Norwegian Casper Ruud, the Serb surpasses all rivals.
Novak Djokovic has won his 23rd Grand Slam title, securing the sole record in men’s tennis. The 36-year-old Serb defeated the Norwegian Casper Ruud in the final of the French Open. Djokovic left Spaniard Rafael Nadal behind with Grand Slam title number 23. The international press writes:
