It’s time for “Ask the Mouse” again! And this edition is a special one: Esther Sedlaczek celebrates her premiere as the hostess of the family show, which finds big answers to small children’s questions. Only the strangest questions make it onto the mouse timetable: How many vacuum cleaners have to have the cable reels running to pull an occupied chair? Where do the grinning honey cake horses come from? And which animals can suffer from hiccups?

In the show, science journalist Dirk Steffens sends five celebrities on five missions. They have spectacular experiences on different continents, experiencing nature, animals and people up close. Thomas Borchert (Christian Kohlund) is commissioned by his old friend Antonius Bildermann (Uwe Kockisch) to draw up a marriage contract for his marriage to the much younger Mira (Idil Üner). Borchert’s ability to mediate is also in demand, because there are tensions not only with Antonius’ “Ex” Stefanie (Kirsten Block). Son Julian (Johannes Meister) rejects the stepmother. Even before Borchert can draw up the controversial contract, the Bildermanns have to stand together: Julian is kidnapped while jogging!

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, Die Monster AG, animated film

The two monsters James P. “Sulley” Sullivan and Michael “Mike” Glotzkowski work for the utility company in their hometown of Monstropolis. This generates energy with the screams of children, which are gained by the “scarers” employed there. This job is not without its dangers, since contact with the children is dangerous for monsters and entails strict decontamination measures. The two are on the verge of breaking the company’s scream record when, through an unfortunate coincidence, a child enters the world of monsters.
