Preview AC Valhalla, Dawn of Ragnarök: our hot opinion

It is quite complicated to give an opinion on the simple viewing of a video, so we will simply give an opinion on what we have seen and if the content that will be offered Dawn of Ragnarok will be quite conclusive for fans of the license.

Dawn of Ragnarök: késaco?

Dawn of Ragnarök is the next DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, it will be released on March 10, 2022 and will offer titanic content, never before seen on the Ubisoft license. The Assassin’s Creed com teams didn’t seem to be wrong, as Dawn of Ragnarök seems to be full of things to do.

First of all, all the people who have been charmed by Asgard will be able to rejoice to see that the next DLC is set in a fantastic universe like Atlantis in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Norse mythology will be more than present and fans of Viking myths and rites will be able to rejoice in fighting alongside the other gods in a DLC completely dedicated to them.

The universe seems much bigger than previous Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLCs and the activities even more varied. The work on the sets of Yggdrasil makes the whole thing quite splendid and we have only one desire: to dive into the saga of Odin to experience the arrival of Ragnarokwhich is imminent.

Who says new DLC, says new

Obviously, the map will be completely new, never seen before, and seems much more detailed and inspired than Asgard. Each of the kingdoms is unique and the developers have been able to do great research around a legendary myth that ofYggdrasil in an attempt to transpose it to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

In the next content offered by Dawn of Ragnarök, we will of course have new pieces of equipment and weapons to find as well as a new Arena game mode. There will also be an exclusive skill tree totally whimsical with the introduction of overpowering elemental powers (in particular the use of lava), skills to mingle with the crowd in all discretion but alsoa new means of transportsince players will have access to crow flight.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

On this point, one could believe in the same mechanics previously seen on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. However, it is Eivor who turns into a crow to travel freely and assassinate opponents directly from the air.

Going back to the skill tree, our mission will be to complete it with various activities totally unknown to date, and the fight will take on a totally different vision. It will also be possible to take possession of the minds of our adversaries to turn them against their allies. All of this seems to give players an incredible sense of power that will have something to delight the most combat enthusiasts and worshipers of Odin. However, the management of our opponents and our skills must be done with care because they are limited in time.

Then finally, we will be able to meet mythical creatures, such as surt and other common magical entities of Norse mythology. We hope that the developers will be faithful to the Viking sagas because this universe is rich. So far, the stories seem well-written and the story will manage to keep the players in suspense who are not necessarily attracted by mythology. Now, we just have to wait to analyze this extension from all angles.

Even though it was just a taste, the next Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC sets the bar very high, at least from what we’ve seen.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Promising

Even if it is the simple viewing of a gameplay video, it is clear that the next DLC of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is promising. Yggdrasil’s whimsical universe and Odin’s skill tree add a little extra cachet. With these additions, the vision of combat and the mechanics to be tackled will be totally different from what we had before on the license. We can’t wait to get our hands on the game to find out more.

nintendo

The golden age of the Assassin’s Creed saga is coming to Nintendo Switch, with the release of the trilogy tied to Ezio Auditore, perhaps one of the Brotherhood’s most beloved members by fans.
