The successful novelist Loretta (Sandra Bullock) has lived a very withdrawn life since the death of her husband, an archaeologist. The hero of her stories is the cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), who in real life has also dedicated his existence to embodying the main character “Dash”. When Loretta is kidnapped by billionaire Fairfax, the eccentric hopes she can lead him to the treasure of the ancient lost city from her last novel.

Fabian Anders (Moritz Treuenfels) is able to sensitively mediate as a couples therapist between his new clients Katja (Natalie Spinell) and Oliver Koch (Felix Hellmann). But he feels overwhelmed in his marriage. Against Fabian’s wishes, her current wife Paula wants to change the rules of the tried and tested nest model and let her friend Alexej (Tobias van Dieken) take part in family life. He is fed up with being only man number two and appears more and more often on the Anders family farm. To Paula’s great horror, Alexei admits that he wants to have a child with her.

Futuristic sci-fi adventure from star director Steven Spielberg: Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) regularly takes refuge in the online simulation game OASIS. When its inventor James Halliday (Mark Rylance) dies, it is revealed that he has hidden a so-called “Easter Egg” in the game. Whoever finds this first will receive Halliday’s fortune and control of OASIS. Wade enthusiastically takes part in the search, but soon has to face unexpected dangers – in the game and in reality.
