In “Tatort” (Das Erste), a parcel delivery man is murdered in the middle of a residential area in Cologne. In “Christmas packages… everyone has to carry” (ZDF) different people experience their very own Christmas miracle.

Rushing through the city every day with hundreds of packages in the delivery van – in the run-up to Christmas it’s pure stress for Milan Strasser (Dennis Svensson). And anyone who works for Sybille Jäger’s (Susanne Bredehöft) shipping company should also wear a Santa Claus costume. As Milan is about to take packages out of the hold on his tour, a masked figure suddenly confronts him and threatens him with a knife. The young father of a family is murdered in the middle of a residential area. As a ball and a gift When the crime scene arrives, almost all packages have been searched and emptied.

Adika (Yann Mbiene), who works as a parcel driver before the festival, rarely loses his good mood despite the stress. Only when he argues with carer Tessa (Zoë Valks) about parking spaces does it go against his grain. He actually finds Tessa interesting, but does he dare to talk to her? Tessa, in turn, tries to lift the spirits of resolute senior citizen Charlotte Haslhuber (Sylvia Eisenberger), who is celebrating Christmas without her husband for the first time. The traditional Christmas run in the snow-covered Mittenwald, where people meet in the forest with skis and sleighs and roast stick bread over campfires, also has to take place without them.
