In “Jackpot” (The First) a woman finds 600,000 euros – and is not happy with it. Johannes B. Kerner is looking for the “Quiz Champion” (ZDF) with celebrity experts. Mario Barth also presents the weirdest cases of bureaucratic madness (RTL).

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Jackpot, crime drama

Maren (Rosalie Thomass) works for a towing company. When she finds a bag containing over 600,000 euros in a car, she is put to a tough test. Her husband Dennis (Friedrich Mücke) has to learn to walk again after an accident and it is uncertain whether the insurance will pay the treatment costs. Maren gives in to temptation: she takes the money and wants to keep it despite Dennis’ objections. But there is someone who misses the 600,000 euros. Someone who doesn’t make compromises, doesn’t negotiate and doesn’t pay a finder’s fee.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Quiz Champion – The Double Special, Dome Show

In the show with Johannes B. Kerner, candidates and experts compete in doubles. Who will become quiz champion and win 100,000 euros? Only the team of two that wins all five duels in the knowledge areas can become quiz champions and win 100,000 euros. The winning team of the double special will be announced at the end of the second episode. If more than one team manages to win all duels, there will be a play-off in the grand final.

Marlen (Corinna Harfouch) used to travel the world. She is a passionate collector. Everything is too valuable, too important to throw away. Fynn (Daniel Sträßer), on the other hand, wants to go through the world with just a hundred things. The two get to know each other through a mishap. Fynn causes a heating pipe to burst in his rented apartment and has to ask Marlen for help. Fynn tries to convince Marlen of his worldview: Only those who have little can be truly free and have time for the really important things.

After a visit to the bull ball, Michael Klarmann (Nils Brunkhorst) is shot. Ekki (Oliver Korittke), who was standing right next to him, is injured. From then on, Ekki believes that they are actually targeting him. To calm his friend down, Georg Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) begins to investigate. He comes across rural resentment, jealousy and old family secrets.
