In “Jumanji: The Next Level” (Sat.1), four friends are drawn back into a dangerous video game. “Helen Dorn” (ZDF) is investigating an arson attack in the left-wing extremist scene. In “Small vs. Big – The Unbelievable Duel” (Das Erste), celebrities face their young challengers.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, Jumanji: The Next Level, Fantasy

Spencer (Alex Wolff), Martha (Morgan Turner), Bethany (Madison Iseman) and Fridge (Ser’Darius Blain) have all drifted apart since their last adventure. They want to see each other again during the holidays, but the meeting doesn’t go as planned because Spencer gets sucked back into the mysterious video game “Jumanji” and now has to be rescued by his friends. Players have landed in the next level and must overcome unknown challenges.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Helen Dorn: The red cloth, thriller

An arson attack resulting in death leads Helen Dorn (Anna Loos) into the left-wing extremist scene. The Autonomen have long had their sights on Ralph Wagner, a wealthy real estate agent. He wanted to buy the Left Center building from the city to get rid of it. However, the spokesman for the “Red Cloth”, Dirk Müller (Florian Lukas), rejects the blame. When Helen is ambushed by hooded men, Müller rushes to her aid.

8:15 p.m., the first, small versus large – the incredible duel, show

With the “Spice Girls”, still the most successful girl band of all time, Mel B, better known as Scary Spice, became a star. Today the singer is challenged by eleven-year-old Fidolina to an exciting pole balance duel. In eight other duels, Wincent Weiss, Adele Neuhauser, Emil Steinberger, David Garrett, Aljona Savchenko, Ralph Caspers, Armin Maiwald, “quiz ace” Thorsten Zirkel and Jan Josef Liefers compete with their little challengers.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Broadway Therapy, comedy

The young New Yorker Izzy (Imogen Poots) works for an escort service, but wants to be an actress. Married director Arnold (Owen Wilson) spends a night with her under a false name. The next morning, the two meet again at a casting. Arnold gives Izzy a role in the play, which also stars his wife Delta (Kathryn Hahn).

10:40 p.m., Sat.1, Transcendence, science fiction drama

dr Will Caster (Johnny Depp) works with passion to create a computer capable of thinking and at the same time capable of emotions. But the RIFT group wants to prevent such technical progress and shoots him with a radioactive bullet in protest. Can his beloved wife Evelyn (Rebecca Hall) save him by uploading his brain into the computer he is developing?
