In “Maleficent: Powers of Darkness” (Sat.1) the dark fairy gets into a war over the magical moors. In “Pitch Perfect 3” (VOX), the singers of the “Barden Bellas” go on a European tour. In “Schlag den Star” (ProSieben) Heiner Lauterbach competes against Uwe Ochsenknecht.

The Marriage Between Aurora (Elle Fanning), the queen of the moors, fairies and forest creatures, and Prince Phillip (Harris Dickinson), who lives in the kingdom of Ulstead, should finally bring about peace between the two warring camps. But new dark powers appear from an unexpected quarter and trigger a battle between the people and the moor dwellers.

8:15 p.m., VOX, Pitch Perfect 3, musical comedy

The members of the a cappella group “Barden Bellas” have now graduated from college and gone their separate ways. But with the bumpy start into professional life, the longing for joint performances grows and so the Bellas embark on a European tour. A special honor beckons at the end, for which the talents have to assert themselves against tough competition and overcome unexpected obstacles.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Schlag den Star, game show

The actors Heiner Lauterbach and Uwe Ochsenknecht compete against each other in a duel in up to 15 rounds. Who shows fighting spirit and fitness? Who shows brains and skill? The winner receives 100,000 euros. Elton leads through the evening with “Beat the Star”, Ron Ringguth comments.

8:15 p.m., the first, asked – hunted, guessing show

16 prominent guests go hunting with the aim of defeating the Quizelite. Actors Armin Rohde, Sven Martinek and Heikko Deutschmann, actresses Anna Loos, Elena Uhlig and Luise Bähr as well as columnist Paula Lambert and model Franziska Knuppe will be there. Also at the start are Tagesschau announcer Thorsten Schröder, moderator Thomas Hermanns, gymnast Philipp Boy and singer Kerstin Ott.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Kiss the Cook – That’s how life tastes! Comedy

Chef Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) insults a restaurant critic and causes an internet scandal. He leaves LA for Miami and becomes self-employed – with a food truck. Support comes from the family: Carl’s ten-year-old son becomes an indispensable helper.
