In “Munich Murder: Black Roses” (ZDFneo), the owner of a club is shot. The lawyer “Heiland” (Das Erste) investigates a case of inheritance fraud and on kabel eins the “Puss in Boots” is looking for magic beans.

Romy (Christina Athenstädt) takes on the defense of the young undertaker Luca Reuter (Lisa Hrdina), who is accused of enriching herself from the death of Kurt Klimkeit. The ad comes from Kurt’s widow Simone Klimkeit (Juliane Meyerhoff). Luca and Kurt had already started planning his funeral a year and a half earlier. When Kurt leaves her 80,000 euros in his will, the question arises as to whether Luca cheated on his trust. The funeral home, run by father Helmut and his children Lorenz and Luca, is in financial difficulties and the inheritance would come just in time.

Puss in Boots is involved in a bank robbery by his best friend Humpty Dumpty. During their escape, they learn that a pair of criminals are in possession of the magic beans that they have been looking for for a long time. These beans grow high into the sky, all the way to a castle where the goose that lays golden eggs lives. However, Puss in Boots is not the only one who wants the golden eggs: the cat lady Kitty Velvet Paw and Humpty Dumpty are also after them.

Sarah (Brit Marling) is intelligent and wants a career in a large security company. Her new mission, infiltrating the mysterious activist group “The East,” could be her ticket. In fact, Sarah is able to track down the cell and build trust with the few but dedicated members.

An elderly woman shoots the homeless Hans-Jörg Hellmer (Udo Samel) in front of the district court, but he manages to escape unharmed. The woman, Ms. Altenburg, comes from Görlitz and was visiting Berlin with her church group. Shortly afterwards she dies in the hospital. Attorney Joachim Vernau (Jan Josef Liefers) can’t just let this case go. It seems unlikely that the old lady planned the attempted murder of Hellmer alone. Who got her the gun and what is the motive?
