In “Nord Nord Mord” (ZDF), a dead man on the car train to Sylt poses a mystery to Inspector Sievers. The first takes a close look at the life of “Emperor” Franz Beckenbauer. In addition, “The Biggest Loser – Life Made Easy” (Sat.1) is entering a new round.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Nord Nord Murder: Sievers and the five question marks, crime thriller

On the car train to Sylt, a man sits with the photo of Carl Sievers (Peter Heinrich Brix) next to him and a pistol in the glove compartment. But when the train arrives, he is found shot in his car. Meanwhile, Sievers is looking at a property that police officer Schneider (Stephan A. Tölle) was able to find thanks to his wife’s contacts. An exclusive villa with a clear view of the mudflats: you don’t find that every day! Sievers is still not convinced. But time is running out.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Beckenbauer, documentary

Franz Beckenbauer – the shining light of German football, world champion as player and coach, father of the 2006 summer fairy tale, advertising icon, global star. The man everyone calls the “Kaiser” shapes the image of the Federal Republic of Germany like no one else. In the documentary “Beckenbauer”, the authors Philipp Grüll and Christoph Nahr weave both facets together to create a look at a life’s work with light and shadow. They talk to Walter Beckenbauer about childhood and complex relationships with his famous brother Franz, to his former partner Diane Sandmann and to his divorced wife Sybille about the man and life partner Beckenbauer.

Germany’s favorite presenter Günther Jauch has impressed people in countless shows with his witty manner, which has left many a candidate completely unnerved. Get excited with the candidates and guess hard when the question comes up again: “Who wants to be a millionaire?”

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, The Biggest Loser – life made easy, slimming soap

In 2024, the weight loss battle will enter a new round: kickboxing world champion Dr. Christine Theiss and her own team compete against the kilo fighters of legendary coach Ramin Abtin. In a total of ten episodes, 23 candidates fight for the title of “The Biggest Loser 2024” and a prize money of 50,000 euros.

10:15 p.m., ZDF, 21 Bridges – Hunt through Manhattan, action

When two drug thieves shoot eight police officers, New York police officer Andre Davis (Chadwick Boseman), leading the chase, has all the bridges to Manhattan closed in order to surround the fugitives. As the son of a murdered police officer, Davis displays controversial toughness. While hunting for the two perpetrators, the police officer comes across stolen drugs, which are an indication of a corrupt network within his own ranks.
