The unequal brothers Tom (Jochen Matschke) and Sebastian Falk (Peter Fieseler) fight for justice day after day as investigators in the Innsbruck police’s alpine squad. When “The Crossbow Killer” is up to mischief in the mountains, Tom does everything he can to catch the serial killer – and in doing so not only violates every police protocol, but also puts his own life in danger. But then a new lead puts the case in a different light. (Also on RTL+)

It is ex-cop Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington), who went to jail a few years ago for a diamond robbery, has since escaped and checked in as a hotel guest under a false name.

The death of the heart-weak undertaker Josef Thallinger (Christian Aumer) seems to have happened quite naturally. But daughter Eva (Johanna Ingelfinger) suspects that there is more to the death of her beloved father. Therefore, the basement commissariat turns on with Angelika Flierl (Bernadette Heerwagen), Harald Neuhauser (Marcus Mittermeier) and Ludwig Schaller (Alexander Held). The case forces the detectives to confront their lives and deaths. However, they wait in vain for a clue from the afterlife.
