In “Ostfriesenschwur” (ZDF) a package with a severed head appears. In “Who knows something like that XXL” (Das Erste), prominent guessing teams play for cash. In addition, the dark magician Grindelwald makes his way to Paris in “Fantastic Beasts 2” (Sat.1).

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Ostfriesenschwur, crime thriller

Ubbo Heide (Kai Maertens), retired head of the criminal police from Aurich, receives a package containing the severed head of a former main suspect, who was never convicted. Upon closer inspection, Ubbo recognizes Bernhard Heymann (Klaas Schramm), who was suspected in the murder of his own daughter, the then six-year-old Steffi, a few years ago. Rupert discovers that the package was sent by a woman in her mid-30s, but her name and address are incorrect. Ann Kathrin Klaasen (Picco von Groote) and Frank Weller (Christian Erdmann) examine the severed head.

In the latest edition of “Who knows something like that?” in XXL format Kai Pflaume, six prominent candidates are once again competing to correctly answer extraordinary questions. They are supported by the experienced guessers and team captains Bernhard Hoëcker and Elton. The first duel features two men who are known for their expertise: Christian Sievers, presenter of the “heute journal” and Ingo Zamperoni, anchor of “tagesthemen”.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Fantasy

Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) learns that Credence (Ezra Miller), believed to be dead, is searching for his real family in Paris. At Dumbledore’s (Jude Law) request, Newt travels to France to protect the boy, because the wizard Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) is also targeting Credence. Will Dumbledore and his allies be able to thwart Grindelwald’s sinister plans or will they find themselves in danger?

8:15 p.m., VOX, Stillwater – Against all suspicion, thriller

Oklahoma driller Bill (Matt Damon) travels to France to help his imprisoned daughter. She was charged with murder and has been in prison for five years, but maintains she is innocent. Bill tries to prove her innocence while struggling with cultural differences, language barriers and his own inner conflicts.

8:15 p.m., Tele 5, sapphire blue, fantasy adventure

Gwendolyn Shepherd (Maria Ehrich), an unwilling time traveler, is newly in love with the past, which turns out to be a bad idea. However, she and Gideon (Jannis Niewöhner) have bigger problems, like saving the world. Luckily, Gwendolyn has advisors at her side: her best friend Leslie, the little gargoyle Xemerius, the ghost James from school and her grandfather when she was young, who gives her important advice from the past.
