“Pitch Perfect 3”: The “Barden Bellas” are on the road again.

In “Pitch Perfect 3” (VOX), the singers of the “Barden Bellas” go on a European tour. The “mountain rescuers” (ZDF) get into a nasty inheritance dispute. In addition, Jan Josef Liefers is looking for the “man without a shadow” (3Sat) in Havana.

The members of the a cappella group “Barden Bellas” have now graduated from college and gone their separate ways. But with the bumpy start into professional life, the longing for joint performances grows and so the Bellas embark on a European tour. A special honor beckons at the end, for which the talents have to assert themselves against tough competition and overcome unexpected obstacles.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, The mountain rescuers: last will, home series
At a mountain hut, Katharina (Luise Bähr) gets caught up in a nasty inheritance dispute. A wealthy businessman dies before her eyes and she has to watch as his children torpedo his last will. Katharina allows herself to be persuaded to bring Ludwig Grieber’s body down into the valley. On the way, she falls and slides into a crevasse. Cold as ice, the children of the deceased leave her helpless. Markus (Sebastian Ströbel) and his colleagues soon start looking.
8:15 p.m., 3Sat, the man without a shadow, thriller
It is not an everyday job for the Berlin lawyer, womanizer and bon vivant Joachim Vernau (Jan Josef Liefers): He is supposed to be looking for a man in Havana who disappeared without a trace 30 years ago. Katherina Gebhardt (Gudrun Landgrebe) is the sister of the disappeared. Her brother Martin allegedly “emigrated” to the GDR in 1980, but never arrived there. Instead, every year they get hints that Martin is still alive, sometimes in Cuba, sometimes in the USA.
8:15 p.m., ProSieben, the big celebrity penance, reality show
unforgettable. But also unforgivable? In “The Big Celebrity Penance”, prominent participants with a turbulent past get the chance to face their sins. To do this, they give up all luxury and move to a camp where challenging challenges await them. But that’s not all: Olivia Jones confronts the celebrities directly with their previous missteps. Who can present a side of themselves that has so far remained hidden from the public?
10:05 p.m., VOX, The Rock – rock of decision, action thriller
Disappointed with the US government, General Hummel (Ed Harris) and his elite troops occupy the prison island of Alcatraz. In their power: several rockets equipped with nerve gas and 81 hostages. The general is demanding $100 million in compensation for his marines from the US government – or all life in San Francisco will be wiped out. But the government shows toughness and puts the FBI agent Stanley Goodspeed (Nicolas Cage) and the escape artist Patrick Mason (Sean Connery) on the mutineers.
