In “Sprachlos in Irland” (Das Erste) Andrea Sawatzki is doing a very special English course. The brutal attack on a software company concerns the “Public Prosecutor” (ZDF). In “The First Avenger: Civil War” (ProSieben) the cohesion of the “Avengers” is put to the test.

For chief secretary Connie (Andrea Sawatzki) things are going according to plan, both professionally and privately. Until the son of the company boss (Patrick Güldenberg) takes over the business and places new demands on his employees: In the future, English will be the business language. Unfortunately, “Mrs. Perfect” can hardly speak English and suffers from a solid language block. To save her job, Connie books an intensive language course on Ireland’s west coast. But Connie is not prepared for her eccentric language teacher Gillian (Claire O’Donovan), who is a full-time undertaker with all her heart.

The brutal attack on an inconspicuous software company confronts Chief Public Prosecutor Bernd Reuther (Rainer Hunold) with a dangerous case in the area of organized crime. Jens Schubeck, one of the company’s managing directors, was murdered in the attack. For Reuther, Chief Inspector Kerstin Klar (Fiona Coors) and Chief Inspector Max Fischer (Max Hemmersdorfer) the question arises as to why Schubeck’s business partner Dominik Winder (Niklas Kohrt) survived the incident.
8:15 p.m., VOX, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Fantasy
The hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), the magician Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and the dwarf troop around leader Thorin Eichenschild (Richard Armitage) have overcome the first dangers on the way to Mount Erebor, the home of the dwarves. But before they meet the awakened dragon Smaug, who is occupying their homeland, they have to escape their gruesome pursuers, the soldiers of the Orc King Azog (Manu Bennett).
8:15 p.m., ProSieben, The First Avenger: Civil War, superhero adventure
After a failed mission in Lagos, the US government decides to control the Avengers more closely and sets up a committee to ensure that they are only allowed to operate on instructions. “Iron Man” Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) endorses the plan, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) aka “Captain America” is completely against it. The split in the superhero alliance then seems unstoppable.
8:15 p.m., arte, Midsummer Murder: Dangerous Connections, Crime
Public prosecutor Nora Linde (Alexandra Rapaport) works with the local police to solve criminal cases in Sandhamn on the archipelago island of Sandön in Sweden. New to the team is Commissioner Alexander Gullmar (Nicolai Cleve Broch). Nora asks him for help after her daughter Anna (Ping Monn) disappears. Is there a connection with the currently popular party drug, which has already been fatal for other young people?
